Problem:

The client project team wanted to add sustainability measures to the building, without the budget to do so.

Solution:

Formworks used a life-of-building costings approach to build a business case for $800,000 of additional funding for the sustainability measures, which the client’s project team then successfully took to their board. As a result, the depot will now have wind turbines, PV cells, stormwater harvesting, rain water collection and reuse, and other energy saving items.
